Airport Transfers

On the island of Rarotonga there is no free "shuttle" service to and from the airport.  Public Transport buses do run during the day and limited hours in the evening however these buses are passanger services only and not suitable for luggage.  The buses do not go to the airport. 

We are happy to arrange your airport trasfers to and from The Cooks Oasis Holiday Villas.   We work with two Transfer Operators on the island.  Please note we are not a 24 hour reception, however the transfer operators that we work with will bring you to The Cooks Oasis and also show you to your villa if you are arriving at night. The Cooks Oasis Management is onsite to welcome day time arriving guests.  For night time arrivals we give an orientation around the property and information on Rarotonga the morning after your arrival.  Please advise us of your flight details when booking your transfers - flight numbers, dates and times of arrival and departure.
 
Airport Transfer Rates:

• 10 years and over: $21.00 per person one way / $42.00 per person return
• 3 to 9 years:  $11.00 per person one way / $22.00 per person return
• Children aged under 3:  Free

For your domestic transfers to and from The Cooks Oasis we are happy to provide this service for $35 when we are able (for one or two people - total charge). Otherwise we will happily arrange your taxi transfer.

If you are interested in a rental car, we can book this for you at a very competitive rate and have the car ready and waiting at The Cooks Oasis.

Our location on the Island:

We are located in Arorangi (Northwest side of the island). From the airport, you will turn left onto the main road.  We are 3.4 km on the right hand side of the road; you will see The Cooks Oasis sign on the roadside.  We are just past a restaurant called the Kikau Hut.  We are about 50 m down on the right hand side.
